are trying to raise $3000 so Silvia can get her visa issues
resolved and stay in the U.S. and Houston
This is my humble contribution to
that effort. It is my hope that anyone who has ever seen Silvia Salamanca dance
at TRF and around Houston will want to help out too.

I am selling a gorgeous gallery ready 11X 14 inch canvas print with Giclee
Satin Matte finish and archival inks of my
acrylic water color portrait
of
Silvia for $100.00. Half of which will go to toward printing costs and $50.00
will go into the Silvia fund (more if I can negotiate it down with my printer).
I am eating the cost of the shipping so don't worry about that even if you are
not in the U.S.
$100.00 too much? Well, I am also offering the first proof copies of my
graphic novel for $20.00...
It only contains the first episode but it's in color and the artwork is
fabulous and I am not charging anything for the typos on the last page. Who
knows, it might be a collectors item someday.

Dance performances throughout the evening, including Sisters of
Avalon and the rest of the Houston dance community - featuring
Shunyata Bellydance, who will be performing their show from Texas
Renaissance Festival...OPA!!!
There will be a drum circle (bring your drum!, bring a coin
scarf and dance with us!), middle eastern food, drinks (BYOB please,
although some wine and sangria will be there too), and a big silent
auction.
